United Check Cashing was established at our flagship store located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1977. Family owned and operated, the Del Borrello family are natural born entrepreneurs, passionately committed to servicing the community on the principles of honesty and integrity, commitment to quality, dedication to excellence, and the motivation for continuous improvement.

The once small check cashing business, originated by Peter Del Borrello Jr., had developed a positive reputation for his honest pricing and excellent customer service; years later the Del Borrello sons collectively decided to enhance their father’s achievement by taking over the responsibilities of their first franchise location with continued growth in operational territory and services.

Since the birth of “The DelBorrello Group”, the Del Borrello brothers have expanded United Check Cashing throughout Philadelphia and over state borders, opening a fourth location in Claymont Delaware. They have also extended into other divisions while continuing to build their primary business. The DelBorrello Group has branded itself in such a way that has diversified their customer base and has instituted an establishment allowing costumer’s to access money in a variety of ways, whether it be check cashing, safe and secure money transfers, money loans and more.
